Show unique visitors instead, it's much more telling. Lifetime requests include every single page load. Every single refresh. It could be 100 total page refreshes for every unique user, and then the unique visitor count would only be 40 thou. It also counts bots, crawlers, cURL requests, and all other kinds of user agents.
