I'm from South Africa - trust me, you do NOT have a rape culture - you are actually incredibly safe - even South Africa isn't as bad as some other countries in Africa. But you are 100% right about the porn culture - social media and politics have taken everything to such extremes that what could be conisdered "grooming" is not considered educational. I think the average college girl who might be turned on by group sex is NOT psychologically or emotionally ready for it and hasn't considered the consequences. The problem with Lucy, in particular, is that she is extremely immature (you can see it in her posts and even where she wants people to talk about her self-harm scars), has psychological issues, and vulnerable to exactly this kind of pro-porn culture. So its the rights / responsibilities thing - people want one and not the other. More than porn-culture, I think people are trying to champion this kind of teen age mindset and make being an adult shameful - because teens are consumers and it is profitable. I think the broader term might be "grooming culture". I think Australia banning social media to kids is 100% right and a very brave/grown-up law - it also saves the parent from blame in the childs mind.
