What hasn't been asked, regarding authority figures, is what fucking business of Cornell was any of this really? Expand that for anything else really. For an educational institute, make sure your qualifiations are up to date, the courses are dispensed well and other shit like this. The whole thing stinks like some form of government over reach (around). You almost know that if it was a case of two males getting into a fist fight on the grounds outside of the Cornell, then Cornell would not care. Maybe someone who understands the laws better can confirm this or not, but the point of this comment is that it seems the Cornell 7 have a great case for a lawsuit against Cornell. It just looks like complete shit and overreach (around) by yet another government institute (always follow money, certification and so on). It's not just for cases like this, but all kinds of things you might class as personal. Who the fuck is Cornell to pass some sort of judgement on them?
