Seven men drugged and gang raped a 20-year-old woman at Cornell University. That,00:36 at least, is the verdict in the alleged Cornell rape case that was delivered by Representative00:41 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who has joined a chorus of others in pronouncing the guilt of00:47 Cornell students accused of raping a fellow student. This is as reported by the great00:53 Jonathan Turley George Washington University law professor. As he writes,00:58 Just mind you, not a single witness is testified under oath publicly, not a single charge has01:02 yet been brought.01:03 However, guilt is now collectively being declared from the usual figures and outlets01:08 who have never been late to mob justice, AOC declared.01:13 I want to be clear that the culture of rape, sexual assault, and pedophilia is protected01:18 in elite institutions across the United States, including Cornell University, has01:22 got to stop.01:23 You know, I think we've been here before, 20 years ago, I recall when Duke University01:28 students were accused of gang raping a stripper at a campus party.01:31 The media quickly lionized the Durham County District Eternal when Michael Nefong, as01:37 he pandered to the media and portraying the students as personifying a rape culture01:42 in the United States.01:43 The problem was from the start that the facts did not fit the allegations.01:48 There was a total lack of any forensic evidence to support the claim.01:52 The woman later admitted that she had lied01:54 about the entire thing.01:56 Nifong, the prosecutor's disbarred01:58 and the alleged victim of one crystal magnum02:02 who has still not been prosecuted for lying,02:04 later went to jail for murder.02:06 I have a feeling that this same thing02:09 may be happening yet again02:11 because the Tompkins district attorney02:15 who initially examined this case concluded02:19 that the statement made by the alleged victim02:26 did not fit the allegations.02:30 Now, the governor, Kathy Hockel,02:34 has taken the investigation02:37 from the Tompkins District Attorney02:40 and assigned it to the New York State Attorney General,02:43 LaTisha James.02:46 Here to break this down for us02:47 He is one of the very best investigative journalists in the country, Frank Parlotto, editor and02:55 publisher of Artvoice.com, also the Frank Report.02:59 He's more than just an investigative journalist.03:01 He's both an investigator and a journalist.03:04 As an investigator, I have seen him tear apart legal cases that some of the finest,03:09 most expensive blue chip law firms in the country missed key and extraordinary facts.03:17 He is the one-man wrecking ball that took down the Nexium sex cult, and he joins us03:25 now to break down this case.03:29 Let me just say that his own piece on this just published, in which he concludes that03:36 the statements by the victim in this case contradict the civil lawsuit she filed and03:43 seem to contradict the facts.03:46 Frank Pallado, welcome into the Stone Zone.03:49 Thank you, Roger.03:50 It's a pleasure to be here.03:53 So Kathy Hockel has taken the Cornell 7 case03:55 from the local district attorneys,03:57 given it to Attorney General Leticia James.03:59 James will now investigate allegations04:01 that seven men drugged and sexually assaulted04:04 a Cornell student in October of 2024,04:08 despite the fact that the Tompkins County04:10 District Attorney Matthew Van Houten04:12 stated that the 2024 sworn statement that the victim,04:16 in this case, we'll call her Jane Doe,04:19 gave to campus police, described her participation04:22 as voluntary, conscious, and consensual04:25 with no allegation of being drugged against her will04:28 or gang raped.04:30 He reopened the case only after the filing04:33 of a civil suit, but then on October 1st,04:35 Governor Huckle appointed Attorney General Leticia James04:38 as a special prosecutor due to questions04:41 about the handling of the case.04:43 You raise in your piece today, and in some subsequent writing,04:47 some serious questions asked whether Letitia James04:49 is the right person to pursue this matter.04:51 But first, let's go to the larger question.04:53 You analyze the situation, tell us your breakdown.04:57 I think the significant thing is04:59 that the accuser, who is being presently called05:04 James Jane Doe has made only one sworn under oath statement. And that and in that statement,05:14 she does not allege the same things that are in her civil lawsuit. In fact, based on her05:21 sworn statement, which happened shortly after the alleged incident, she does not describe05:28 a crime but rather a party. She voluntarily it got her self intoxicated with a variety05:38 of recreational drugs and then entered into a atmosphere at a fraternity house. I can05:49 break down the difference between what she swore in 2024 and now what her lawsuit05:57 says but fundamentally things have shifted towards a what I assume is a financial goal.06:05 The lamentable part of course is that she is now putting at risk seven young men who06:13 based on her original statement participated in a party with her of which by all accounts06:21 including her own at the time she was most willing to participate in.06:27 Yeah, I have read her statement is, shall we say, colorful, probably a little too colorful06:33 for a family radio show and a family radio station such as ours, but it is very clear06:40 here, and I'm going to ask you to go through the differences between her sworn statement06:45 and her lawsuit, but it's very clear that there's no evidence of her being compelled06:50 to do anything here, as the district attorney correctly said at the very beginning, it06:56 It appears based on her own statement that her participation was voluntary, that she was07:02 conscious, that everything she did was consensual, that she made no allegation of being drugged07:08 against her will.07:09 She admits to taking ketamine.07:11 She also admits to being extremely intoxicated.07:16 And she doesn't even claim in the original statement that she was gang-raped.07:19 She seems to be saying that now.07:21 Cathy Hockel and Leticia James,07:24 both are running for reelection in tough races.07:27 Cathy Hockel is one of the most endangered incumbents07:30 in the country, one of the most unpopular governors07:33 in the country.07:34 I've been in the American political arena for 50 years,07:37 but rarely do you see 70% unfavorable ratings07:40 or 70% plus job approval ratings.07:44 And of course, Leticia James suffered very substantially07:48 because of the research of Sam Antar07:50 others which demonstrate that whether even though she escaped the federal charges at least so far07:55 she engaged in a 40-year spree of mortgage fraud something by the way that leticia james herself08:04 has prosecuted people for things that if you're i did frank we would definitely be prosecuted08:09 so both of them i think looking for an election year bump uh at the expense of these seven men08:15 at Cornell who may, it appears at this point, be entirely innocent if you would08:21 lay down the differences between what she says in her lawsuit and what she said08:25 in her statement. Well in November 2024, which was three and a half weeks after08:32 the party, she gave Cornell police a sworn statement. It ran about six08:39 single-space type pages. And it's a curious thing because after she was08:44 warned that a false statement is a crime, she made more than 20 handwritten corrections08:51 to the type statement.08:54 Among the points that I think are significantly different than her lawsuit is that her statement09:02 says that she walked about a mile, had made plans with a man earlier in the week,09:10 Texted him that she was on her way to the frat house where he lived and rated herself09:16 five out of ten09:19 the09:20 Laws in terms of drunkenness. Yes09:24 The lawsuit however says she stumbled alone to the house09:29 visibly intoxicated09:31 the09:34 Her statement or sworn statement09:37 shortly after the incidents09:39 records that in quotes she agreed due to how attracted she was to him on top of09:47 her drunken curiousness that she was excited and that she was pretty okay09:54 with having this threesome the lawsuit however says that she was in quotes10:03 incapable of consenting and quotes. Her statement, another discrepancy says she10:14 noticed that one of the men looked sleepy and she told the other man they10:20 needed to stop their escapade to make sure he was okay and the other man10:25 stopped. The lawsuit says that one man lost his erection and went to nap. The10:38 lawsuit further says that a fourth man entered the room, or rather a third man,10:45 the fourth of the party, entered the room and grabbed her. Her statement's a10:51 little bit different. The10:53 statement says he knocked. She10:56 quotes decided to let him in10:58 because he it was his room.11:01 Open the door and shook his11:02 hand. They began making out11:05 the three of them would end up11:07 on the bed and began to have11:10 a threesome. This was while11:12 the other man was napping11:15 nearby. So the her statement11:20 says that one man asked11:21 to make it a foursome, she said, hell no. And that was the end of it. The lawsuit does not11:28 mention it. Then we get to the ketamine. Her statement, her sworn statement says he asked11:37 her if she wanted to do more ketamine, and she thought, why not do it a second time?11:43 In her lawsuit, she says that the lawsuit says that Jonathan Newell commanded her to snort a line off his body.11:55 So the lawsuit says all seven poured lines of ketamine on her.12:00 Her statement says one man asked her if they could all do drugs off of her perfect body.12:08 And she said, sure.12:11 So point by point, she originally showed that it was a consensual evening of orgiastic pleasures12:23 and then shortly after when the entire school was talking about her promiscuous behavior,12:33 That is when she began to realize that she was at least in part a victim.12:41 I read the entire police statement and the one that she signed off on two years ago does12:48 not sound at all like gang rape.12:51 These men were not prosecuted two years ago because under New York state law, forcible12:55 compulsion or rape occurs when a victim is unconscious or physically unable to communicate13:01 or they refuse, conscious, according to her own account of things, she willingly took drugs and she13:07 consented. So the whole situation is evil and disgusting, shouldn't have happened, but according13:14 to the evidence at the time, there's no way a prosecutor takes up this case because, based on13:19 her own statement, other than the drugs being illegal, there's no other illegal conduct.13:26 Regardless, this was presented to the Coronel Police. Some men were suspended, some were expelled,13:33 they all faced various punishments, but the and the frat house was evidently shut down.13:41 Now, when we come back, when I ask Frank Parlotto, perhaps the best investigative13:47 journalist in the country working today over there at artvoice.com and also the Frank Report,13:53 The governor, Kathy Hockel, has appointed Letitia James, the state attorney general,14:00 to now take over this investigation, to take it from the Tompkins County District Attorney,14:05 Matthew Van Houten. You point out in a piece you wrote today that Letitia James herself has been14:11 accused of sexual assault, a matter that has not been adjudicated, and therefore may be the14:18 worst person to have jurisdiction over this case. We'll be back with more of14:24 this on the other side. Don't go away. You're listening to the Roger Stone Show14:27 and we're talking to Frank Parlotto, investigative journalist with artvoice.com14:32 and the Frank Report. We'll be right back. Welcome back into the Stone Zone.14:38 We're talking to Frank Parlotto, investigative journalist about the14:42 extraordinarily controversial Cornell 7 case which is all over the news. It's a14:48 very balanced piece of the New York Post written by the great Jonathan Turley who14:53 concludes that there does need to be an investigation points out a number of the14:57 discrepancies as Frank Parlato has done between the sworn statement that the15:02 victim will call her Jane Doe although I see her real name is floating15:06 around the internet and the sworn statement she gave15:11 to the college police and her subsequent lawsuit,15:18 which is a civil suit.15:20 I once again point to the statement15:22 by the Thompson Tompkins County District Attorney,15:25 Matthew Van Houten, who stated that the 202415:28 sworn statement of campus police15:30 described her participation in her own words15:33 as voluntary, conscious, and consensual15:36 with no allegations she was drugged against her will15:39 or gang raped.15:40 But the case was reopened after the lawsuit.15:43 And then Governor Kathy Hochlo appointed15:46 Leticia James, the State Attorney General,15:49 to take over this investigation.15:51 Now, this is where it gets really interesting.15:55 As Jonathan Turley points out,15:58 she picked the one prosecutor who probably surpasses16:02 the prosecutor, the Duke case,16:03 in a reputation for putting politics16:05 head of Prosecutor of Integrity, that would be Attorney General Latisha James. James was of course16:11 elected on a pledge to weaponize the legal system against Donald Trump, promising that she would16:16 prosecute Trump without specifying any crime. She's known as one of the most political prosecutors16:21 in the country using office to pursue groups and individuals who she disagrees with politically.16:26 Former staffers very recently condemned her for converting them to her personal attorneys,16:32 targeting her personal enemies. As Jonathan Turley wrote, Hockel's appointment with James16:39 maximizes the chances of criminal charge in the case. James has always followed the policy16:44 of the Queen of Hearts. Sentence first, a verdict afterwards. I urge you to read this16:49 piece in the New York Post, but Frank, you have reported on allegations regarding Letitia16:54 James that really indicate that she's the wrong person to pursue this case. With16:58 With about three minutes, can you outline that for us?17:01 Well, it is a bizarre irony, because as Leticia James has now assigned to investigate a alleged17:11 gang rape, she was herself accused of participating in a gang rape, and by all indications, she's17:22 used her influence and authority to quash the investigation.17:28 in brief back in December 22nd, 2014,17:33 when Leticia James was a, not the attorney general.17:39 She was at the office Christmas party at,17:43 she was the public advocate for New York city17:45 and her office held a Christmas party at Woodrow's17:49 near New York city hall.17:52 She, the, the accuser, Angel Dubose says17:57 that her chief of staff, Ibrahim Khan, bought her a drink and with his hand18:03 hovering over the glass. Outside two staffers grabbed Dubose and she was18:08 put in James' car. She heard James ask twice, is she out? And what Angel18:16 describes, and she's been consistent, she's gone to the Manhattan DA, she's18:21 done much more consistently told her story, that she was brought to an apartment and James,18:29 Leticia James and others collectively participated in the gang rape and assault. And she has tried18:39 to bring this case everywhere and place by place she was shut down. She worked for James18:45 when she went public, James fired her. So I think there's a true irony that a woman accused18:53 of a gang rape with named Coke members of her gang is now investigating a gang rape with19:03 a clear prejudice for as you know, Roger, LaTisha herself prior to taking on this case19:10 just a few days before her appointment. James posted on her Facebook horrific and unacceptable19:18 to her and to all her survivors. You're not alone. So that tells us that Leticia James has reached19:24 a conclusion prior to investigating the case. I want to thank our guest Frank Parlano.
